They are a unit of Alliance Capital Management, the largest publicly traded money management firm on Wall Street with more than $369 billion under management. With a long history of successful value and growth stock research, this fund delivers performance premiums derived from fundamental and quantitative research. The investment process focuses on risk control and consistency of premiums. The stocks are screened to consist of companies upholding the Social Principles of The United Methodist Church.

Edward Allen Benson, Ph.D.
Equity Holdings
Managing the Equity Holdings portfolio is Dr. Ed Benson, whose investment strategy is to seek above average returns by making long term investments in companies with exceptional profit and growth outlooks. The portfolio (a balance of large-mid cap growth and value holdings) includes dominant companies that realize high returns on their own invested capital, which should be reflected in the stocks over time. Dr. Benson has spent more than 30 years in investment management and served on the General Board of Pensions of The United Methodist Church for 16 years; chairing the Investment Committee eight of those years. He received his Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. He currently chairs the Investment Committee of the United Methodist Higher Education Foundation.
