Tom Locke’s extensive financial background and deep understanding of the importance of service to others have prepared him to effectively lead the country’s largest United Methodist foundation. After serving for five years as senior vice president and chief financial officer, he became president of the Texas Methodist Foundation in 1993. His visionary leadership has resulted in significant growth and service to the United Methodist community.

Prior to joining the Foundation, he spent five years as executive vice president of Georgetown National Bank overseeing the institution’s lending, personnel and investment matters. He also served as secretary of the bank’s board of directors.

A graduate of Texas A&M University, Tom later completed study at the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.
