Forming Partnerships to Grow Faithful Givers

The Texas Methodist Foundation’s Stewardship Services staff forms partnerships with United Methodist churches throughout the state by offering educational and consulting expertise to stimulate faithful, conscientious stewardship. Our stewardship staff also partners with our other service areas to provide comprehensive consulting designed to meet the individual needs of churches.

This includes working closely with our Loan Services staff to evaluate the feasibility of expansion projects, including capital campaign potential, debt analysis, and funding sources. In addition, planned gifts and endowments, as well as investment opportunities, contribute significantly to the stewardship efforts of a congregation. This wide-ranging suite of services results in efficient service, affordable loans, successful capital campaigns, and year-round stewardship emphasis for United Methodist churches and institutions in Texas.

Our Growing Faithful Givers graphic was created to convey the relationship between faith and giving. The tree symbolizes our Christian faith which roots and locates us in the world as a community of believers. Like the tree, our faith requires nourishment to grow. Generations of faithful givers have enabled the tree to flourish. Those generations are comprised of individuals who translate their inner faith into outward gifts and contribute immeasurably to the strength, beauty, and permanence of the tree of faith.
