Candy Gross - Sr. VP of Charitable Services

Candy Gross, senior vice president of Charitable Services, joined the Texas Methodist Foundation in 1989 in the Operations area, working in accounting, cash management and fund administration. She has also served in the Executive area, working directly with the president of the Foundation, and continues to serve as Corporate Secretary. In 1991 she undertook management of the Grants program, and continues to oversee this ministry. She also directs the Foundation’s Charitable Services area which includes developing church endowments, gift planning services for churches and individuals, and the administration of endowment and life income accounts.

Whether they work with our grants program to help grow ministries, or have established an endowment, it is truly humbling to connect those resources with a grassroots ministry offering help to a hurting world.”

Candy’s background prior to her work with the Foundation was in accounting. Additionally, she shares a strong interest in church outreach missions and volunteer advocacy programs.

Linda Murdock - Endowment Consultant

Linda Murdock proficiently incorporates skills she developed working in the investment industry into her work as a consultant with the Texas Methodist Foundation.

Murdock successfully guides United Methodist churches, individuals and institutions as they consider gift planning options, growing endowments and other resources offered by the Foundation.

In her prior work providing investment services for the Foundation and several other financial services entities, Murdock developed strong client communication skills and sound experience in financial planning. Her previous position with the Foundation saw her administering all agency funds and monitoring portfolios for the Fixed Income and Equity Portfolios. She also served as liaison for the Foundation's investment advisors and brokers.

Before re-joining the Foundation staff, she was employed by Raymond James & Associates as a licensed associate. Throughout her career, Murdock has focused on a high level of customer service and feels this will continue to be an asset as she concentrates on helping United Methodists achieve their financial and philanthropic goals.

Karyl Seibert - Endowment & Life Income Accounts

Karyl Seibert currently serves as administrator of endowment & life income Accounts in the Foundation’s Charitable Services area. She previously served in the Operations and Investor Services areas of the Foundation administering agency accounts and Individual Fund investments. She joined the Texas Methodist Foundation in 1992 working with churches and institutions to close loans, and also administering loans after their closing.

Karyl adds, “It is fulfilling to be able to administer endowments and life income accounts that carry out the wishes of visionary donors. As I help charitable institutions receive distributions from these gifts, I know without a doubt both the funds and the people utilizing them are making a great difference in the lives they touch.”

Karyl’s background prior to joining the Foundation was in the banking industry.

Don Psencik - Consultant

Don PsencikDon Psencik joined the Foundation in 1994. While he serves as a consultant in the various services offered by the Foundation, his specialty is helping churches build permanent endowment funds and helping individuals to make estate gifts to these funds.

Before joining the Texas Methodist Foundation, Psencik served the First United Methodist Church of Temple as the church's business administrator. Prior to that, he worked in the banking profession for 17 years.

Psencik was once quoted as saying, "If you asked 100 people why they make gifts to their church, you'd get 100 different answers. But you usually see one common thread: they want to make a difference, and if they can do so beyond their lifetimes, the gift seems to take on an even greater significance and meaning."

Henry Radde - Consultant

Henry RaddeThe Rev. Henry Radde speaks with the voice of experience as he advises churches and congregants on resources available through the Texas Methodist Foundation. He learned first hand about utilizing these services while serving as pastor for numerous churches in the Central Texas Conference.

Radde's last two pastoral appointments were at Arlington Heights United Methodist Church in Arlington and First United Methodist Church of Hurst. He has also been the Conference Director of Youth Work and the Superintendent of the Waco District. Beginning in 1996, Radde served as the Director of the Conference Council on Ministries.

The positions held by Radde further illustrate his leadership abilities and dedication to United Methodist ministries. He acted as chairperson for the Council on Finance and Administration, the Board of Ordained Ministry, and the Board of Higher Education and Campus Ministry. Radde provided input to many committees including the Conference Relations Committee and the Conference Insurance Committee. He served as a delegate to the Jurisdictional Conference and a reserve delegate to the General Conference of the United Methodist Church.

In addition, Radde sat on the Board of Directors and Executive Committees of both the Methodist Children's Home and the Texas Methodist Foundation. He also served on the Board of Trustees of Southwestern University and the Wesleyan Homes.
