Forming Partnerships to Grow Faithful Givers

The Texas Methodist Foundation’s Stewardship Services staff forms partnerships with United Methodist churches throughout the state by offering educational and consulting expertise to stimulate spiritually-based, conscientious stewardship. They also partner with our other service areas to provide comprehensive consulting designed to meld faith and money into a focused approach to fulfilling each congregation’s unique purpose.

Partnering with Loan, Gift Planning, Endowment, and Investment Services

Stewardship staff collaborates with our Loan Services staff to evaluate the feasibility of expansion projects, including capital campaign potential, debt analysis, and funding sources. As members of a congregation grow in their understanding of transformational giving, they are often motivated to make a planned gift, launch an endowment program (or revitalize an existing one) in order to help their church continue to positively impact the lives of future generations. In addition, investment opportunities can also contribute significantly to the stewardship efforts of a congregation.

This wide-ranging suite of services provides an opportunity for churches to create cultures of generosity where all avenues of giving reinforce one another as they are used to answer God’s call for their congregation.
