TMF Awards Medallion of Merit to Seven Distinguished Leaders
TMF announced seven recipients of the TMF Medallion of Merit, the organization’s highest honor. TMF President Tom Locke presented the awards at their Imagining Abundance gala on November 20, 2016. The honor is bestowed on individuals who have made a significant contribution towards advancing the mission of TMF and/or The United Methodist Church. Read the summary press release. - Dr. Gilbert R. Rendle, Jr.

- James B. Waterfield, III (posthumous)
Kerry Alys Robinson, founding executive director and global ambassador of the Leadership Roundtable, was the guest speaker for the gala. As in her prize-winning book, Imagining Abundance: Fundraising, Philanthropy and a Spiritual Call to Service, Robinson reminded the audience that generosity, grounded in gratitude for God’s overflowing grace, is integral to an experience of abundant life.
